Kentucky speak

As everyone knows our rambunctious 3 year old surprises us everyday with something new. He is so funny (but how can he not be funny when his parents are crazy). I have talked to Jamie on a number of occasions telling him that I would rather our children not pick up the poor grammar of Kentucky (because not other place uses poor grammar int he United States). I am hoping that we can be great examples of correct grammar (haha). I mean we are from California and all :). I have been trying with every new day and every new word that my 3 year says to help him speak in the most appropriate manor that a three year can. Then a couple of days ago my perfect place of delusion was shattered when my son said the most Kentucky thing ever. Let me just explain the situation. Kadence is using the big potty finally...thank goodnes... YAY! He came into the living room to announce that he had flushed the toilet and I said why don't you go into the bathroom and make sure. He went back into the bathroom and came back into the living room and as serious as he could be he looked at me and said Sho is. ..............Sho is, I was speechless. I do not say that, nor have I ever said that. I was baffled and as I sat and pondered where my child might have possibly picked up this crazy phrase one name came to mind... Josh Hamilton. Josh is the onlyperson I have ever heard use this phrase in my presence. And since usually my kids are present wherever I am, I would like to officially thank Josh Hamilton for teaching my child the wonderful phrase of sho is. Now I am going to try to fix this, but I have to admit it had me laughing pretty hard. For those of you that read this I apologize as I am not the most creative or colorful writer but I will try to post more often to keep you updated on the new and wonderful things happening at the Foster zoo in Elizabethtown Kentucky.
